Four Tips For Color Treated Hair.(hair color)
Most woman today color their hair; it's an easy way to keep the gray away and experiment with new looks. Coloring our hair is a great ego boost, but long term dyeing can cause damage, and dying or hair can leave our walls, clothes, and even faces colored too! Here are four tips for colored hair; whether you've already dyed it, or are preparing for a DIY bathroom beauty session...
Before dying your hair, make a "beauty salon" in your bathroom, or kitchen. Lay towels on the floor to prevent dye from falling and staining rugs and hardwood floors, and repeat with your counters [hair dye is impossible to remove!]
To prevent dye from appearing on your cheeks, ears, and scalp, put a fine layer of Vaseline on these areas; Vaseline is the ultimate dye stopper!
If you're coloring gray, get your hair cut every six to eight weeks - if you do this more often your hair will become dry, brittle, and eventually break off which is much worse than going all natural! If you feel your hair is damaged, purchase a deep conditioning balm to replenish it, or ask your salon about an oil treatment that can restore hair. Avoid coloring all together if you have scrapes, sores, or cuts on your scalp, or face.
